The Ford Explorer offers its own suite of engine options starting with a 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder making 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. The next option is a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 that can push out either 365 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque or 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, depending on the trim. Lastly, Ford has introduced a 3.3-litre V6 with a hybrid power train, and total power output is 318 horsepower.
